Perinatal results of antenatally detected hypoplastic left heart syndrome in a single tertiary center: experience of 5 years time

Abstract 
 Aim: Our aim is to investigate Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome diagnosed pregnancies that were followed up in Tepecik Education and Research Hospital- Perinatology Unit between 2015-2020, retrospectively. Matherials Methods: The archieves scanned Maternal features such as age, gravidy, parity, teratogen exposure, concominant disease existence, karyotyping rejection decision for the future delivery type was noted. Also fetal like gestational age at diagnosis, growth, perinatal complications (eg: intrauterin growth retardation, additional anomaly, preterm delivery) postnatal condition noted.
 Results: 9 of 41 patients met criteria. One them had termination pregnancy. %37.5 rest delivery. 3 8 (%37,5) retardation with estimated weight below 10 persentile. There no gender difference among infants. 75 percent delivered infants, operated postnataly. 2 infants died before operation due prematurity complications.
 Discussion: a very rare highly detectable antenatal period high morbidity mortality rates. These fetuses must be tertiary centers both because problems’ management management.
